Compliance Officer – UAE National

About the role

The Compliance Officer will support Etihad’s Compliance Monitoring Programme by overseeing the administration, quality control and logistics of audit activities. This full‑time position is based in Abu Dhabi and is open to UAE nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the Audit Information Management System in line with established KPIs and update it within three working days of any change.
• Perform quality control on audit records, report discrepancies and ensure records are kept according to defined timelines and standards.
• Act as the primary liaison between auditors and auditees throughout audit preparation, follow‑up and closure.
• Plan and manage operational and technical audits, including logistics, briefing preparation and status reporting.
• Compile and distribute audit reports, monthly findings status and related publications to business partners.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions, analyse audit data for trends and provide regular performance updates to Compliance Managers.
• Administer the Quality Assurance Audit inbox, issue reminders and support effective follow‑up of audit actions.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of audit data.
• Experience in compliance monitoring, audit administration or related regulatory functions.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with auditors, auditees and senior compliance staff.
