Compliance Operations Director

About the role

Bybit is looking for an experienced compliance leader to build and run its Global Compliance Operations function. The role focuses on translating regulatory licences into practical operating procedures, governance frameworks and sustainable business processes across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the operational implementation of regulatory licences for all licensed entities, ensuring operational readiness before go‑live.
• Develop, maintain and continuously improve compliance operational frameworks, including SOPs, governance processes, control frameworks and monitoring mechanisms.
• Standardise documentation, templates and implementation methodologies across jurisdictions.
• Implement governance, tracking and escalation mechanisms to maintain oversight of regulatory obligations.
• Identify gaps between regulatory requirements, internal policies and business practices and drive remediation actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading compliance or regulatory operations in a fast‑moving, technology‑driven environment.
• Strong understanding of licensing requirements and ability to embed regulatory commitments into day‑to‑day business operations.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with Licensing, Legal, Product and regional business teams.
• Ability to design and enforce governance structures and control mechanisms.

Required skills

• Experience creating and maintaining SOPs, governance processes and control frameworks.
• Knowledge of regulatory licensing processes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to identify operational gaps and implement remediation.
