Computer Science Teacher

About the role

The Dubai English Speaking College is seeking a qualified Computer Science Teacher to join its dynamic faculty. You will deliver the UK curriculum to GCSE, AS and A Level students, fostering a love for technology and preparing learners for further education and careers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Computer Science lessons in line with the UK curriculum.
• Teach GCSE, AS and A Level content, ensuring students achieve their academic targets.
• Contribute to extra‑curricular activities, with opportunities to support Cricket or Athletics programmes.
• Maintain accurate records, report on student progress and collaborate with colleagues.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of teaching experience with the UK curriculum.
• Proven track record of teaching GCSE, AS and A Level Computer Science.
• Highly motivated, talented and willing to engage positively with the college’s vision.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the UK Computer Science curriculum.
• Effective classroom management and assessment techniques.
• Ability to inspire and support students across different ability levels.
