Computer Science Teacher

About the role

The International School of Choueifat in Dubai is seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction using the SABIS® point system. The successful candidate will join a collaborative academic team, support student achievement, and contribute to a vibrant learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons using provided plans or develop plans aligned with SABIS pacing charts.
• Mark examinations and record results according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss disciplinary and performance matters with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
• Implement the SABIS® point system to foster a conducive classroom atmosphere.
• Invigilate exams and ensure a well‑managed testing environment.
• Provide additional support for low‑performing students to boost motivation and results.
• Prepare students for external examinations by reviewing past papers as scheduled.
• Assist with duties such as student supervision, traffic control, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
• Participate in student‑life activities, coordinating with the Student Life Coordinator.
• Attend training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS® system.
• Undertake other related tasks or projects delegated by school management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient or native English language skills, depending on subject requirements.
• Strong communication abilities and teamwork orientation.
• Ability to meet all local employment, certification, reference, and background‑check requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
