Computing Teacher (UK-IGCSE) – High/Secondary School

About the role

International Community Schools is seeking a dedicated Computing Teacher for the 2026/27 academic year at Al Maharat Private School. The role involves delivering the UK‑IGCSE Computing curriculum to high/secondary students in a dynamic, multicultural environment. The successful candidate will inspire learners, integrate modern technologies and support the school’s commitment to inclusive education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Computing lessons aligned with the UK‑IGCSE curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, assessments and learning materials that address diverse student needs.
• Foster critical thinking, problem‑solving and digital literacy among students.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to school activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience in Computing or related subjects at secondary/high school level.
• Strong knowledge of the UK IGCSE Computing syllabus.
