Configuration Manager

About the role

LODD Autonomous is seeking a Configuration Manager to lead the control of design baselines and effectivity for its unmanned aerial systems (UAS). The role ensures that all certification configurations, prototypes, and test specimens are accurately tracked and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and enforce approved design baselines and effectivity rules for UAS and key certification configurations.
• Maintain baseline and effectivity registers, providing accurate configuration status accounting for internal readiness gates and authority submissions.
• Ensure specimen and test‑article conformity, linking each compliance document, test plan/report, and analysis to the correct baseline.
• Operate change control for certification impact, documenting change‑to‑requirement and evidence updates.
• Implement and sustain the LODD DOH‑required system for informing personnel of drawing, specification, and design‑management changes.
• Support certification inspections by guaranteeing correct configuration identification, serialization, and documentation packages.
• Place holds on evidence release when configuration or effectivity is ambiguous and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, systems or an equivalent aviation technical qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in configuration management for complex aerospace or aviation products, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of baseline/effectivity control, configuration identification, and status accounting methods.
