Configuration Officer

About the role

The Configuration Officer for Halcon will execute Configuration Management (CM) activities across one or more defence programs, ensuring the integrity, traceability, and control of all configuration items throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain CM plans for multiple programs.
• Manage and control configuration baselines for systems, hardware, software, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with CM processes, procedures, and ANSI/EIA-649 standards.
• Conduct configuration audits, status accounting, reporting, and change‑control activities to maintain full product traceability.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in Configuration Management or Document Control within a systems‑engineering or technology‑driven organization.
• Advanced knowledge of ANSI/EIA-649 CM principles and Systems Engineering processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering preferred) or equivalent; aerospace or defence experience highly desirable.
