Construction Engineer – Piping (PMC)

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Construction Engineer – Piping to join the ADNOC Onshore project in Abu Dhabi. The role will oversee and coordinate all piping construction activities on behalf of the Project Management Consultant, ensuring safety, efficiency and strict compliance with project specifications, quality standards, schedules and relevant codes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise on‑site piping construction works.
• Ensure all activities meet safety and quality requirements.
• Monitor progress against project schedules and specifications.
• Verify compliance with applicable codes, regulations and client standards.
• Act as the primary liaison between the PMC and construction teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, specifically in piping construction.
• Proven ability to work on on‑shore sites in a demanding environment.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and safety standards.
