Construction Manager (Bridges experience) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Gulf Contractors Company (GCC) is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager with extensive bridge and road experience to lead on‑site activities for major infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing all construction operations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Direct day‑to‑day site operations for road and bridge works, ensuring compliance with approved plans and schedules.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and labor forces to optimise resource utilisation.
• Implement and enforce QA/QC procedures, monitor workmanship, and ensure material compliance.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and documentation.
• Lead the site team, assign tasks, monitor performance, and uphold safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of construction experience, with hands‑on involvement in road and bridge infrastructure projects.
• Current residence in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of local and national construction regulations.
