Construction Manager - Buildings

About the role

AtkinsRealis is seeking a senior Construction Manager with extensive experience in building projects. The role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and requires a degree‑qualified professional who can lead large, multi‑functional sites. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a multi‑functional site supervision team delivering hospitality, mixed‑use, retail and entertainment mega‑projects.
• Coordinate key stakeholder interfaces across client departments and government agencies.
• Oversee overall construction management and control activities.
• Monitor contractors for compliance with contractual obligations.
• Track construction progress against schedule and ensure timely delivery.
• Guarantee projects meet time, cost, quality and health & safety standards.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet current and future commitments.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent with Chartered status.
• More than 15 years of construction management experience, including at least 5 years on similar multi‑functional projects.
• Proven track record delivering large, complex building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, project controls, quality assurance and health & safety.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
