Construction Manager – Buildings

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and manage building construction activities from execution through completion and handover. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, to required quality standards, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day‑to‑day construction activities and site operations.
• Lead and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Monitor project progress, programme, resources, and construction sequencing.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical, construction, and site coordination issues.
• Coordinate design changes, variations, and additional works with relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor quality and workmanship.
• Support project completion, snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 15–20 years of relevant building construction experience.
• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on building projects.
• Mandatory SOE and DMT registration.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, building methods, drawings, and specifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 (advantage).
