Construction Manager - Civil

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager – Civil to plan, direct, and oversee all construction activities from project inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of all construction projects in the company’s portfolio.
• Review project designs, specifications, and contractual documents to determine requirements.
• Develop and implement construction strategies, schedules, and resource plans.
• Oversee site mobilization, equipment allocation, and manpower deployment.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and supervisors to monitor progress and address issues.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure performance meets project requirements.
• Ensure adherence to budgets, monitor cost control, and approve justified variations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, safety compliance, and progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 12–15 years of construction management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role on large‑scale infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Knowledge of UAE construction laws, authority requirements, and permitting processes.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
