Construction Manager – Fencing, Access Control & CCTV Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of fencing, access‑control and CCTV installation projects for a major government entity in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee multiple sites, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and drive projects to successful completion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise several construction sites simultaneously, coordinating resources and schedules.
• Plan, schedule and execute fencing, access‑control and CCTV installations from inception to hand‑over.
• Develop and maintain detailed budgets, timelines and scope documents; monitor expenditures and enforce cost controls.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to company standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with specifications, safety regulations and client requirements.
• Analyse technical specifications for fencing systems, access‑control mechanisms and CCTV infrastructure.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, clients and vendors to resolve issues and maintain professional relationships.
• Ensure strict compliance with local safety, environmental and security regulations across all sites.
• Prepare progress reports and deliverables for senior management and government representatives.
• Manage procurement, negotiate contracts with suppliers and implement process improvements.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of professional experience in construction management, preferably on security‑related infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent sites and large‑scale budgets.
• Strong knowledge of local safety, environmental and security regulations in the UAE.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
