Construction Manager - Infrastructure

About the role

The Construction Manager – Infrastructure will lead the delivery of all infrastructure activities for the Contractor and specialist subcontractors throughout the construction phase. You will monitor performance, ensure compliance with contractual milestones and intervene when issues arise to achieve successful project completion.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure works throughout construction and verify readiness (drawings, method statements, risk assessments, permits, NOCs, work fronts).
• Review and track the Contractor’s construction programme, look‑ahead schedules, resources, productivity, work sequencing and recovery measures.
• Oversee the performance of the Supervision Consultant and Contractor, ensuring proper inspection, sign‑off and quality control.
• Validate progress reported in status reports and manage technical submittal and approval processes.
• Identify and implement improvements in sequencing, inspection processes and QHSE performance.
• Coordinate relationships with local authorities and ensure compliance with Hill International’s QHSE policies.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure construction, including at least 5 years dealing with Abu Dhabi local authorities.
• Proven PMC experience as a Construction Manager on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience on at least two full‑life‑cycle projects within a Project Management team.
