Construction Manager

About the role

China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the execution of a newly awarded large‑scale project in Dubai. The role involves overseeing all construction activities, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure construction activities move according to the predetermined schedule and budget.
• Review project planning, budgeting, and resource identification.
• Optimize utilization of labor, materials, and equipment.
• Develop effective communication mechanisms and resolve conflicts among participants.
• Monitor progress regularly and hold status meetings with sub‑teams.
• Review and revise project work plans as needed.
• Coordinate architects, consultants, contractors, and sub‑contractors.
• Manage the budget, track expenses, and minimize project risk.
• Obtain permits, licenses, and valid NOC from relevant authorities.
• Ensure compliance with legal, QEHS, and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain complete project documentation and review site reports.
• Conduct regular site inspections.
• Monitor client and consultant feedback to ensure satisfaction.
• Participate in QEHS training and promote accountability at all levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in steel structure projects.
• Proven track record managing large construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
• Ability to obtain permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
