About the role

White Star Contracting is seeking an experienced Construction Partner to join its contentious practice in Dubai. The role offers access to a global network of over 100 construction lawyers across more than ten countries and supports the firm’s ambitious international expansion backed by its London headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage the global legal network to advise clients on complex construction disputes.
• Develop and grow a portable book of business, targeting new clients in energy, infrastructure and related sectors.
• Drive business development initiatives to win and retain high‑value contracts.
• Collaborate with senior partners to shape the firm’s expansion strategy in the Middle East.

Required profile

• Proven track record of winning construction‑related clients.
• Strong business development capabilities and an extensive client network.
• Portable book of business and ability to operate independently.
• Ambitious, determined and driven to succeed in a competitive legal environment.
