Construction Site Engineer – Civil Engineering (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Civil Engineer to join Ashiyana Contracting’s dynamic team in Dubai. The role involves supervising residential and commercial building projects from excavation through to handover, ensuring compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities, conduct inspections and address any deviations from plans.
• Analyse engineering drawings, survey reports and technical documents to guide construction.
• Allocate resources, materials and equipment to optimise project efficiency.
• Track project costs, identify savings and ensure adherence to budget.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials, confirming compliance with standards.
• Report progress, milestones, risks and changes to the project manager and stakeholders.
• Identify potential risks and implement preventive measures to avoid delays and safety hazards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4‑5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, with at least 2 years in Dubai on residential or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations (DM, DDA, Trakhees, Nakheel, JAFZA, DSO, Dubai South).
• Proven ability to supervise and manage construction sites.
