Construction Superintendent

About the role

The Construction Superintendent will lead all on‑site activities, ensuring safe execution, timely progress, and compliance with project specifications. This role requires close coordination with clients, contractors, and internal teams to keep the construction schedule on track.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect work progress to verify safety and adherence to specifications.
• Calculate coordinates and set out points for engineering structures using drawings.
• Assign tasks to workers based on material and labor requirements.
• Coordinate construction activities with other project phases to meet completion deadlines.
• Supervise, schedule, and monitor construction works.
• Estimate material and labor needs and order/requisition supplies.
• Provide hands‑on assistance to workers using hand tools and equipment.
• Resolve technical or coordination issues with managers, contractors, and other departments.
• Record personnel, production, and operational data on required forms.
• Analyze production problems and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, preferably in Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong project management and communication abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.
• Familiarity with regulatory construction standards.
