Construction Superintendent – Shutdown

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead shutdown projects for a high‑profile client in the energy sector. You will be responsible for overseeing all on‑site activities, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all on‑site construction activities during shutdown phases.
• Monitor project schedule and budget, taking corrective actions to keep the project on track.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Apply in‑house construction management procedures to maintain consistency across the project.
• Communicate progress and issues to senior management and client representatives.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a Superintendent or similar senior construction role.
• Experience managing shutdown projects in the oil, gas or energy sector.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors.
