Consultant Hematologist Oncologist – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Hematologist Oncologist to join a leading healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering comprehensive care for patients with both benign and malignant hematological disorders as well as solid tumours, working within multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, evaluate and manage a wide range of hematological conditions including anemia, coagulation disorders, leukemias, lymphomas and multiple myeloma.
• Assess and treat patients with solid tumours using evidence‑based chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and supportive care.
• Interpret diagnostic investigations such as bone‑marrow biopsies, pathology reports, molecular testing and imaging studies.
• Participate in tumour board meetings and collaborate with surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists and other specialists.
• Monitor treatment response, manage complications and provide survivorship or palliative care when needed.
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and compliance with hospital policies.
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement, accreditation and regulatory activities.
• Provide teaching, mentorship and supervision to junior staff and engage in CME activities.
• Participate in clinical research, audits, publications and clinical trials.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent).
• Minimum of 36 months (3 years) of experience in hematology and oncology practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
