Consultant – Internal Medicine (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Internal Medicine to join a modern healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive medical care to adult patients, managing complex conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, evaluate, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in adult patients.
• Conduct comprehensive medical consultations, physical examinations, and clinical assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and current guidelines.
• Coordinate specialist referrals and manage multi‑system medical conditions.
• Request and interpret laboratory investigations, imaging, ECGs, and other diagnostic tests.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide preventive care and lifestyle counseling.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medical records.
• Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews, and quality‑improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with DHA regulations.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine.
• Relevant clinical experience at Consultant level.
• Valid professional registration/license in the relevant country.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical decision‑making and communication skills.
