Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology

About the role

HealthPlus Network of Specialty Centers is seeking an experienced and compassionate Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology to deliver comprehensive women’s health services across outpatient, inpatient and surgical settings in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑spectrum obstetric and gynecological care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow‑up.
• Manage low‑risk and high‑risk pregnancies, antenatal care, labor, delivery and postnatal care.
• Perform gynecological procedures and minimally invasive surgeries within granted clinical privileges.
• Conduct outpatient consultations for a wide range of obstetric and gynecological conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in emergency on‑call coverage as required.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety standards.
• Engage in departmental meetings, audits and continuing medical education activities.

Required profile

• Board‑certified obstetrics and gynecology specialist with at least three years of clinical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex obstetric and gynecological cases.
• Experience performing advanced surgical procedures, including minimally invasive techniques.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and provide on‑call coverage.
