Consultant Paediatric Pulmonologist

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant Paediatric Pulmonologist to join a leading hospital in the UAE. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive respiratory care for infants, children and adolescents, using advanced diagnostics and evidence‑based treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic paediatric respiratory conditions.
• Perform and interpret paediatric pulmonary function tests and other respiratory assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for asthma, cystic fibrosis, sleep‑related breathing disorders and recurrent infections.
• Collaborate with paediatricians, intensivists, allergists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in clinical governance, audits and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Support medical education and departmental development.

Required profile

• Board certification in Paediatric Pulmonology or Paediatrics with a recognised fellowship.
• Recognised Tier 1 qualification (ABMS, Canadian Royal College, UK CCT/CCST or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑specialisation experience.
• Eligibility for Consultant‑level licensing with DHA, DOH or MOHAP.
