Consultant Plastic Surgeon

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant Plastic Surgeon to join our surgical team in Dubai. The role involves consulting with patients, planning and performing reconstructive and aesthetic procedures, and providing comprehensive post‑operative care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, review medical histories and determine appropriate surgical options.
• Explain risks, benefits and expected outcomes to patients before surgery.
• Perform reconstructive surgeries for birth defects, injuries, burns and cosmetic enhancements.
• Prepare patients for both surgical and non‑surgical procedures.
• Prescribe post‑operative medications such as analgesics and antibiotics and advise on wound care.
• Schedule and conduct follow‑up visits to remove sutures, assess healing and manage complications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to clinic policies.

Required profile

• Medical degree and completed residency in surgery.
• Additional training in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.
• Several years of practical surgical experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and professional bedside manner.
