Consultant Rheumatologist – UAE (Full‑time, Tax‑free Salary)

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the United Arab Emirates is expanding its autoimmune and inflammatory joint disease services. The Consultant Rheumatologist will join a multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality care to a diverse international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue diseases, vasculitis, gout, osteoporosis and other autoimmune disorders.
• Prescribe, monitor and adjust DMARDs, biologics, immunosuppressants and infusion therapies safely.
• Perform joint assessments, intra‑articular injections and musculoskeletal ultrasound when within scope.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with nephrology, dermatology, pulmonology, ophthalmology, orthopedics and physiotherapy.
• Educate patients on disease control, medication safety, lifestyle modifications and flare management.

Required profile

• Internationally trained rheumatology specialist with recognized board or specialist qualification.
• Strong clinical judgement, commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills for culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to adapt to UAE healthcare regulations and documentation standards.
