Consultant / Specialist Neurosurgeon – Dubai

About the role

A leading tertiary‑care hospital in Dubai is expanding its neurosciences and spine surgery programme. The hospital seeks an experienced Consultant / Specialist Neurosurgeon to join a multidisciplinary surgical team in a JCI‑accredited, technology‑rich environment serving an international patient base.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and surgically treat brain, spine and peripheral nervous system disorders.
• Perform cranial surgeries, spine surgeries, tumour resections and neurotrauma procedures.
• Conduct minimally invasive and image‑guided neurosurgical interventions.
• Provide pre‑operative assessment, post‑operative care and ICU coordination.
• Collaborate with neurologists, intensivists, oncologists, radiologists and rehabilitation specialists.
• Participate in emergency neurosurgical services and on‑call rotations.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance, patient safety and international surgical protocols.
• Contribute to audits, research, CME activities and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Board‑certified neurosurgeon (American Board, UK FRCS, European, Canadian, Australian, Arab Board or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑board clinical experience.
• Eligibility for Dubai Health Authority (DHA) / Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH) licensure (full support provided).
