Contracts Engineer – EPC/EPCM Projects

About the role

The Contracts Engineer will lead contract administration for EPC/EPCM projects, ensuring all contractual documents are accurate, compliant, and aligned with project objectives. This senior position works closely with procurement, legal, finance, and project teams to manage risks and support successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end contract administration for EPC/EPCM projects, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, sub‑contracts, amendments and variations.
• Handle claims, change orders and all contractual correspondence.
• Monitor contractual obligations, deliverables and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify, assess and mitigate commercial risks and contractual exposures.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, Project and Finance teams to ensure seamless contract execution.
• Support tender documentation, bid evaluations and award recommendations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors on contractual matters.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Contract Management, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in contracts/commercial roles within Oil & Gas or EPC environments.
• Strong experience in EPC/EPCM contract administration, claims handling and variation management.
• Preferably experienced on on‑shore Oil & Gas projects and familiar with UAE/GCC project environments.
