Contracts Manager

About the role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager to lead contract activities for its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) projects in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure contract compliance, mitigate risks, and drive value across complex construction engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development, negotiation and execution of complex PMC contracts, including FIDIC agreements.
• Review, analyse and interpret contract terms to align with company policies and project objectives.
• Collaborate with project teams, legal counsel and stakeholders to resolve contractual issues and disputes.
• Monitor contract performance, conduct audits and report findings to senior management.
• Manage and mentor a team of contract professionals, fostering continuous improvement of processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of contract management experience, preferably on PMC projects in the Middle East.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms and FIDIC contracts.
• Professional certifications such as CCM or CCCM are highly desirable.

• Proficiency with contract management software and tools.
• In‑depth understanding of FIDIC contract clauses.
