Control-M Operations Engineer (Remote, Part‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Control‑M Scheduler to support an ongoing project. The engineer will focus on scheduling, configuring, validating, and managing batch jobs within Control‑M, using pre‑prepared scripts.

Key responsibilities

• Create, configure, and manage Control‑M jobs, folders, and workflows.
• Set up job parameters, conditions, dependencies, calendars, time windows and cyclic rules.
• Configure notifications, alerts and job priority rules.
• Monitor execution via Control‑M Enterprise Manager and troubleshoot failures.
• Validate job flows with business stakeholders and coordinate Linux‑based command jobs.
• Prepare documentation such as runbooks, job inventories and dependency maps.
• Support UAT cycles and ensure smooth operational handover.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years hands‑on experience with Control‑M Workload Automation.
• Strong experience building job definitions, conditions, dependencies and calendars.
• Hands‑on experience with Control‑M Enterprise Manager.
• Working knowledge of Linux commands and shell scripting.
• Nice to have experience in telecom environments and Control‑M certification.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work with distributed remote teams.
