Controls Service Technician

About the role

The Controls Service Technician will join the Aftermarket team in Dubai, reporting to the Field Line Manager/Sr. Operations Team Leader. The role focuses on delivering service, maintenance and small retrofit projects for Building Management Systems (BMS) across data centres, retail and commercial buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day service and maintenance tasks in line with company best practices.
• Perform testing, commissioning and minor retrofits on BMS platforms to improve comfort and energy efficiency.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors and senior engineers to prepare AMC documentation and ensure timely project delivery.
• Plan, schedule, monitor and control service activities to meet KPIs and Service Level Agreements.
• Attend critical infrastructure sites, conduct root‑cause analysis and produce dilapidation reports.
• Identify business growth opportunities, product end‑of‑life replacements and upgrade solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Service Management, Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of operations and maintenance experience on large‑scale projects.
• Proven experience in core BMS commissioning and strong HVAC knowledge.
• Excellent customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
