Credit Controller – Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover)

About the role

John Crane is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join its Jebel Ali Free Zone office in Dubai on a 6‑8 month fixed‑term assignment covering maternity leave. The role will support cash‑flow management and accounts‑receivable objectives for a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date customer billing accounts and dispatch invoices.
• Follow up collections, allocate payments and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare monthly cash‑forecast and monitor collection targets.
• Perform credit checks on new and existing customers and monitor payment patterns.
• Propose write‑offs of irrecoverable debt and manage bad‑debt provisioning.
• Process receipts, prepare bank deposits and investigate customer queries.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email or in person regarding payment issues.
• Review and enhance credit control procedures and support implementation of direct payment systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑6 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable or collections.
• Valid UAE work authorization, resident visa and UAE driving licence.
• Ability to work onsite in Dubai.
