Critical Care Medicine Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Specialist in Critical Care Medicine to join our multidisciplinary team in Ajman. The role involves delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in the ICU.
• Provide emergency and intensive care treatments and procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Medical degree recognized by the relevant health authority.
• Completion of specialty training in Critical Care Medicine.
• Valid DHA/DOH/MOH license or eligibility.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a hospital ICU setting.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• UAE healthcare experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
