Customer Experience & Growth Intern – Sports Tech

About the role

Join Stranger Soccer’s fast‑growing sports‑tech team as a Customer Experience and Growth Intern in the UAE. You will work closely with the UAE Business Owner and Singapore headquarters to deliver seamless football game experiences and help expand the local football community.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as an Official Host for selected football games weekly across Dubai and/or Abu Dhabi, ensuring a smooth, fun, and safe experience for players.
• Collect and analyse player feedback to continuously improve the game experience and brand perception.
• Assist with daily operations such as scheduling, logistics coordination, venue communication, and onboarding new players.
• Support marketing, customer service, and game‑operations tasks, including recruiting and onboarding new Official Hosts.
• Identify inefficiencies in booking, hosting, or player engagement processes and propose actionable solutions.
• Observe games to recommend format tweaks, warm‑ups, engagement activities, and post‑game processes.
• Research best practices from sports, fitness, and hospitality industries to elevate the UAE experience.
• Contribute ideas and mini‑projects to increase player acquisition and retention, and support promotional events and community activations.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic team member able to work closely with the UAE Business Owner and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with staff, customers, and external stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude with a passion for football and community building.
