Cyber Security Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Associate to manage and improve the security posture of our federal systems and infrastructure in Dubai. The role involves overseeing certification and accreditation processes, monitoring security tools, and ensuring compliance with NIST standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage security posture of managed federal systems and infrastructure.
• Conduct testing, monitoring, and controls for federal Certification and Accreditation (C&A) or Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, including NIST 800‑53.
• Develop and implement remediation plans to address insufficient processes or controls.
• Operate security tools such as Splunk, Nessus, Acunetix, firewalls, IDS/IPS to continuously monitor the environment.
• Analyze policies and procedures related to access control, audit, configuration management, change control, contingency planning, and incident response.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in program or project management with CMMI‑based policy implementation.
• At least 5 years of consulting experience.
• Strong knowledge of NIST RMF and 800‑53 control frameworks.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems, Oracle databases, and networking concepts.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and produce high‑quality documentation.
• Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) required.
• Excellent documentation and writing skills.
