Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

About the role

This remote position is designed for professionals and aspiring analysts who want to gain hands‑on experience in cyber threat intelligence within realistic, simulation‑based environments. You will work with incomplete threat data, evaluate sources, and produce actionable intelligence that supports security decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Tri­age and evaluate simulated threat information, assessing relevance, reliability and credibility.
• Analyze threat actors, their motivations, capabilities, TTPs and potential impact on an organization.
• Assess indicators of compromise in context, avoiding reliance on single data points.
• Identify intelligence gaps and define additional information needed for better security decisions.
• Develop and refine intelligence requirements based on assets, exposure and business priorities.
• Prioritize threats using relevance, likelihood, impact and organizational priorities.
• Apply structured analytical reasoning, evaluate competing hypotheses and document assumptions.
• Produce concise assessments that explain what is happening, why it matters and recommended defensive actions.
• Communicate confidence levels, evidence quality and limitations to stakeholders.
• Brief senior and non‑technical decision‑makers with clear, business‑focused recommendations.

Required profile

• Strong analytical judgment and ability to evaluate incomplete or ambiguous data.
• Experience or strong interest in cyber threat intelligence and adversary behavior analysis.
• Ability to translate technical findings into clear business‑relevant insights.
• Attention to detail and disciplined documentation of assumptions and evidence.
