Cybersecurity Analyst

About the role

PCS Gulf is seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to protect its clients’ IT and financial environments. You will monitor networks, investigate incidents, and help design security measures that align with the latest industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor computer networks for security issues and respond to alerts.
• Investigate security breaches and other cyber‑security incidents.
• Install and manage firewalls, endpoint security programs, and other protective software.
• Document security breaches, assess damage, and report findings.
• Collaborate with the security team to perform vulnerability tests and penetration testing.
• Remediate identified vulnerabilities to maintain a high security posture.
• Stay updated on IT security trends and news.
• Develop and promote company‑wide best practices for IT security.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a cybersecurity analyst, preferably in financial services or the crypto sector.
• Strong understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
• Ability to identify, explain, and mitigate network vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with Windows, iOS and Linux operating systems.
