About the role

The Data Analyst Associate provides quantitative evidence to support advisory mandates for a regional investment group based in Dubai. Working fully remotely, you will transform raw market and portfolio data into clear, defensible insights that guide high‑level corporate strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and integrate datasets from diverse sources for ongoing investment mandates.
• Build and maintain financial models that evaluate asset performance within a holding‑company portfolio.
• Conduct quantitative research on sector trends to inform potential capital injections.
• Create accurate data visualisations for executive presentations.
• Audit internal reports for logical consistency and numerical accuracy before they reach client boards.
• Monitor key performance indicators to detect shifts in operating‑model efficiency.
• Draft technical summaries that explain data methodologies in plain English for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing governance reports by organising historical data into structured formats.

Required profile

• Strong academic background in a quantitative discipline (economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, etc.).
• High attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in large datasets or financial statements.
• Excellent written communication focused on factual accuracy.
• Curiosity about large‑organization functions and willingness to learn corporate governance.
• Disciplined, self‑managed approach to fully remote work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel).
• Basic knowledge of SQL or programming for data manipulation.
