Data Analytics Officer

About the role

The Data Analytics Officer will support data analytics, business intelligence, digitalisation and process automation within the Technical department. You will create reliable dashboards, automate reports and turn operational data into clear insights for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance BI reports and automated dashboards using Maintenance Information System, OPS BI, EDP and other operational platforms.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to secure data access, validate data definitions and ensure data quality.
• Monitor data flows, identify root causes of data issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Identify and prioritise opportunities to digitise manual workflows and automate recurring technical processes.
• Lead digital and analytics initiatives from requirements gathering through testing, deployment and continuous improvement.
• Define project scope, timelines, resources and success metrics in partnership with Technical, IT and business teams.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms and technologies that improve efficiency and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Promote data literacy, training and adoption across the department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related analytical discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a complex analytical, business intelligence or reporting environment; aviation experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Microsoft Power Platforms (Power BI, Power Automate).
• SQL, R, Python.
• BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Data modelling, ETL principles and dashboard development.
• Familiarity with aviation maintenance systems (OPS BI, EDP) is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of automation tools (RPA, Python scripting) is an advantage.
