Data and Analytics Team Leader

About the role

The Data and Analytics Team Leader will drive the creation of value from data across the organization, turning raw information into actionable insights and automated processes that support business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research on best practices and stay abreast of market trends relevant to business processes.
• Enhance data collection procedures, cleanse and verify data integrity to ensure accurate reporting.
• Explore and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and weaknesses.
• Develop customized algorithms to extract and analyze large data sets, uncovering patterns and growth opportunities.
• Design and develop business intelligence and data‑visualisation reports and metrics for diverse audiences.
• Create and implement action‑plan initiatives and campaigns aligned with division strategy.
• Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams to deliver data‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of data analysis experience, retail experience a strong plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related field.
• Experience with database management systems and querying languages (SQL Server, Oracle).
• Familiarity with statistical packages such as R, SAS, SPSS (plus).
• Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools.
• Strong knowledge of machine‑learning algorithms, predictive analysis and artificial intelligence.
