Data Center Engineer Level Four

About the role

Equinix is seeking a Data Center Engineer Level Four to join its operations team in Dubai. You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving critical data‑center infrastructure, ensuring reliability and efficiency for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression and other facility systems.
• Monitor the Building Management System, troubleshoot alarms and support energy‑efficiency initiatives.
• Coordinate vendor activities, approve work, and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Maintain technical documentation, update equipment files and support modifications.
• Log site activities, identify single points of failure and respond to on‑site incidents.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of data‑center operations and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on moderately complex tasks.
• Good judgment in resolving maintenance issues and incident response.
• Experience collaborating with vendors and following safety protocols.
