Data Science Internship – AI & ML Projects

About the role

A terrific opportunity exists for an intern to join the Data Science team, contributing to data preparation, analysis, and the development of deep‑learning AI and ML products.

Key responsibilities

• Play an integral role in data preparation and data wrangling for building deep‑learning based AI and ML products.
• Analyze structured, unstructured and semi‑structured data.
• Learn and write code in R and/or Python under the guidance of experienced data scientists.
• Use Power BI for descriptive analytics.
• Collaborate with senior data scientists, AI experts and global teams.
• Assist on projects led by the Regional Data Analytics team.
• Gain exposure to the reinsurance and insurance business and interact with underwriters and client managers.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a master’s in Business Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Applied Statistics, Applied Mathematics or Computer Science.
• Basic programming experience in R and/or Python.
• Highly committed, self‑motivated and a strong team player.
• Eager to assume responsibility and learn new tools and technologies.
• Fluent in written and spoken business English.
• Superior attention to detail, accuracy and completeness.
• Internship period of 3–6 months (availability to be indicated).
