Data Scientist – Business Analytics (Dubai)

About the role

Spotify is seeking a Data Scientist to join its Business Analytics team in Dubai. You will work closely with the Regional Analytics Lead to shape growth strategies for the Middle East & Africa region, collaborating with analysts, engineers, marketers and business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data‑driven strategies to increase Spotify users and subscribers in the SAMEA region.
• Identify new growth levers and run experiments to validate impact.
• Create and communicate actionable recommendations, models and visualisations.
• Build scalable data pipelines and dashboards for performance tracking.
• Partner with business stakeholders to uncover opportunities and design comprehensive tests.
• Present findings to senior leaders and influence product and marketing decisions.

Required profile

• Based in the UAE with at least 2 years of professional experience in data analysis or data science.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate business questions into data solutions.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional partners and presenting insights.
• Background in Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or a related field.
• Comfortable working in a globally distributed team and occasional international travel.
