Data Scientist

About the role

The Data Scientist will translate business challenges into AI‑driven solutions that deliver measurable impact. You will work closely with project managers, engineers and site personnel to design, develop and operationalise machine‑learning models across the EPC and Marine project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and define business problems suitable for AI/ML solutions and align them with strategic objectives.
• Design, prototype and develop ML models using structured and unstructured data from ERP (SAP), BIM, IoT sensors and project management tools.
• Apply techniques such as regression, clustering, neural networks, GLM, random forests, boosting and text mining for predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Build models for predictive maintenance, risk forecasting, supply‑chain optimisation and quality‑control, then serialize and deploy them into production.
• Collaborate with engineers to create retraining pipelines, monitor model performance, detect drift and ensure scalability and robustness.
• Implement AI standards, protocols and best practices while mitigating risks associated with model predictions.
• Perform time‑series forecasting, geospatial analysis and simulation modelling to support decision‑making.
• Communicate technical findings in clear business terms and stay updated on emerging data‑science practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
