Data Strategy & Governance Manager

About the role

The Data Strategy and Governance Manager will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of Al Tayer Group’s enterprise data governance, privacy and compliance framework. This senior position partners with business and technology leaders to embed data ownership and accountability across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise Data Governance, Data Privacy and Data Compliance policies.
• Lead the rollout and adoption of the Collibra Data Governance platform.
• Onboard and coordinate Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Custodians and Data Champions.
• Integrate governance processes into daily business operations.
• Drive stakeholder engagement, change management and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data governance, data privacy and compliance within large organisations.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Excellent change‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with business and technology teams.
