DC Operations Manager

About the role

The Data Centre Operations Manager will oversee the full operation of Atos' Dubai data centre, ensuring reliable electrical infrastructure and supporting all internal departments for seamless service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage major electrical system shutdowns, including UPS, switchgear and generators.
• Supervise and attend on‑site maintenance activities, including night and holiday shifts.
• Present DC operations, processes and policies to customers.
• Lead installation projects, coordinate vendor deliveries and monitor implementation.
• Prepare, review and approve Method of Procedure (MOP), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Emergency Operating Procedure (EOP) documents.
• Review preventive maintenance (PM) schedules via CAFM, communicate risks, impacts and mitigation plans to customers.
• Compile spare‑parts, PPE and tool lists for planned maintenance.
• Execute preventive maintenance according to SOPs and maintain quality checklists.
• Monitor health, safety and environment (HSE) compliance and reporting.
• Schedule, track and send equipment for calibration, updating the calibration log.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data centre operations and electrical system maintenance.
• Ability to manage projects, vendor relationships and on‑site teams.
• Familiarity with CAFM systems and preventive maintenance planning.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards and calibration procedures.
