Depot Manager

About the role

The Depot Manager reports to the Regional Workshop Manager and oversees the day‑to‑day operations of the depot in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that accessories are received, stored, inspected, repaired, and made available for operational needs while maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily depot activities, keeping the facility clean, safe, and well‑organized.
• Control accessories stock from receipt through storage, issue, return, inspection, repair, and final disposition.
• Inspect accessories, classify them as serviceable, repairable, uneconomical, obsolete or non‑serviceable.
• Recommend repair, refurbishment, quarantine, disposal or replacement based on condition, age, demand and cost.
• Ensure proper documentation and justification for any disposal requests.
• Coordinate and prioritize repair work to meet agreed turnaround times and quality standards.
• Set and monitor target completion times for repairs, inspections and stock movements, taking corrective action when needed.
• Plan and schedule the depot team’s daily and weekly tasks, allocating manpower according to workload.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of experience in depot, warehouse, or inventory management.
• Proven ability to manage stock records and oversee repair activities.
• Strong understanding of HSE requirements and safe working practices.
