Design Engineer – Inert Gas Generator

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer to develop inert gas generators for boiler systems across our sites in the UK, Singapore and Dubai. The role focuses on improving performance, efficiency and compliance of gas generation equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop inert gas generators tailored for boiler applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate designs with existing boiler technologies.
• Perform simulations, testing and data analysis to optimise system performance.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations and environmental requirements.
• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2 to 25 years of relevant experience in inert gas generator or boiler system design.

Required skills

• Inert gas generator design expertise.
• Knowledge of boiler system engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Experience using simulation and analysis tools.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance.
