Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Steel Structural Design Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The role focuses on designing and analyzing industrial steel structures, including hot‑rolled steel and pre‑engineered buildings, for projects across the GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop structural steel designs for hot‑rolled steel and PEB projects in compliance with AISC and local codes.
• Perform structural analysis and design of steel connections using industry‑standard software.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure design integration and constructability.
• Review and validate design outputs against international and UAE standards.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in industrial steel structural design within the GCC.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Approval by the UAE Society of Engineers.
• Immediate availability for joining.

Required skills

• Structural steel design for hot‑rolled steel and PEB.
• Strong knowledge of AISC and related design codes.
• Structural analysis and steel connection design.
• Proficiency with STAAD Pro, IDEA, StatiCa, ETABS, PROKON, Hilti Software, Fischer Fixing Systems, MBS, and AutoCAD.
