Design Technology Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Design Technology Teacher to join its growing network of schools in Abu Dhabi with an immediate start. The role involves delivering high‑quality, inclusive lessons that spark curiosity and support students’ academic, social and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Design Technology lessons that meet curriculum outcomes and cater for the full ability range.
• Organise classroom resources, create engaging displays and manage hybrid, distance‑learning and face‑to‑face sessions.
• Implement behaviour management policies, safeguard children and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support SEN, EAL and gifted‑and‑talented students through differentiated instruction.
• Reflect on teaching practice, monitor student progress and adjust plans accordingly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching in an international school setting.
• Experience working with students for whom English is not the first language.
• Professional, calm demeanor with strong interpersonal skills for communicating with diverse parents and stakeholders.
• Commitment to extra‑curricular involvement and a child‑centred approach.
