About the role

GEMS Founders School in Dubai is seeking an enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to deliver the DT curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. This role offers the chance to work in a vibrant international environment with strong professional development support.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Design Technology to students in Key Stages 3‑5, delivering engaging and creative lessons.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate closely with students, parents and colleagues to support learning outcomes.

Required profile

• A B.Ed or subject‑related degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Design Technology at Key Stages 3‑5.
• Ability to share outstanding teaching practice.
• Creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
